SALT LAKE CITY FARMER’S MARKET

Saturdays 8 am - 2 pm at Pioneer Park. Lots of good food, artisans, coffee, etc. One of my favorite ways to spend Saturday morning! More info here.

RED BUTTE GARDEN

Beautiful botanical garden set above the city. Entrance is $16 pp. More info here!

PRIMROSE OVERLOOK

Short, somewhat steep hike in the Timpanogos wilderness. Stunning views of the mountains at the overlook!

CECRET LAKE

Short, uphill hike in Albion Basin to a crystal blue lake surrounded by mountains.

LAKE MARY (MARTHA, AND CATHERINE)

Steep, mile-long hike up to Lake Mary – one of the prettiest lakes in the Wasatch. Lakes Martha and Catherine are a couple of miles up the trail, and if you’re feeling particularly ambitious, you can add on the climb to Sunset Peak (see the next hike)!

SUNSET PEAK

Currently one of my favorite hikes in the SLC area – gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains in every direction and several beautiful lakes to stop at along the way. This is a difficult hike – be sure to carry enough water and snacks!

LAKE BLANCHE

Beautiful, challenging hike up to a lake. One of the most iconic lakes in the Salt Lake area. This is also a challenging hike that can easily eat up half a day.

RED PINE LAKE

Another challenging hike up to a lake that is totally worth it. Be sure to allow enough time and pack enough food and water!
